Come play in a bucolic edible landscape and refresh your wardrobe with a day long creative retreat including an indigo dip and visible mending bar. We will begin our day by covering stains or adding pattern design to tired garments by dyeing them in natural indigo vats, creating shades of blues (this is a great way to refresh faded denim!).  In the afternoon, we will break for a delicious farm to table lunch prepared by our host, Veva Edelson, under the shade of a Catalpa tree.  After lunch, we will enjoy an outdoor stitching salon and mending bar, complete with visible mending instruction and plenty of additional fabrics to choose from to add patches or other embellishments to your garments.  Indigo dye vats and visible mending materials are provided, students are asked to bring their own garments to re-work.
