Join us for a one-day creative dye retreat at Piano Farm.  Learn the basics of natural dyeing with seasonal color from fresh flowers and foliage.  We will be creating vivid eco-prints and dreamy colorful landscapes. In additon to eco-printing we will also have a solid marigold dye vat to add depth and color to our creations. This hands on workshop is great for natural dye beginners or experts.  Come play in a buchalic edible landscape! Farm to table lunch prepared by our host Veva Edelson and served under the shade of a Catalpa tree.  Soak in the pastoral scene while taking farm flowers from petal to print. Students are provided with sample swatches and a silk scarf and are encouraged to bring garments or fibers from their own collection to dye.  Please note, all fibers must be natural (cotton, linen, silk, or wool). This is a great way to cover up stains or refresh a tired garment.
